Experience: Jake Bryden graduated from ³ÉÈËÔ¼ÅÚÍøÕ¾’s Civil Engineering Technology program in 2012 and began his career as a construction surveyor, contributing to projects such as the Fundy Trail Parkway and the proposed Trans-Canada East Coast Extension. In 2016, he returned to post-secondary studies at the University of New Brunswick, completing a degree in Environmental Management before earning his law degree in 2023. He now works as in-house legal counsel with NB Power.

A proud New Brunswicker, Jake values the opportunity to serve his province both through his professional role and as a member of the ³ÉÈËÔ¼ÅÚÍøÕ¾ Board of Governors.

Behind the Scenes: In his free time, he enjoys fishing, canoeing, biking, and golfing. Above all, he is a proud husband and father who loves spending time with his family and their dog, Pongo.

Jake on ³ÉÈËÔ¼ÅÚÍøÕ¾: ³ÉÈËÔ¼ÅÚÍøÕ¾ was an incredible springboard that launched me into my career and further education. I’m grateful for all I learned there—both academically and about life. Joining the Board is my way of  helping ensure future students have the same opportunities for growth and success that I had.
